IHG Meetings Tactical Programme 2011 Full Online Terms and Conditions (UK)
A. Introduction
The IHG Meetings Tactical Programme begins in the UK at 00:01am (local time; GMT +1:00) on 1st May 2010 to 11.59pm (local time; GMT) on 30th June 2011. These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Programme and shall remain in effect beyond Programme meetings value accrual and redemption dates (stated below) in the event of any disputes that arise out of or relate in any way to the Programme.
B. Programme Description
IHG has sent / will send promotional Programme e-mailers to selected IHG Customers. The Programme has also been communicated via various other media (e.g. online banners, hotel communications etc.).
Registrants that register to participate in the Programme can earn credits towards the meetings value target of £5,000 with every meeting that they book from their date of registration, along with any food and beverages and accommodation spend associated with the meeting, within the Programme period, and that they subsequently register on the Programme website www.holidayinnmeetings.co.uk. For the value to be credited to the registrant’s account, the meeting venue must confirm that the meeting took place and that the meeting value is correct.
Registrants can earn towards their meetings value target at Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza hotels throughout the UK only.

C. Eligibility and Entry
The Programme is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over but excludes hotel booking and venue finding agencies who book conferences and meetings on behalf of clients through IHG. Participation in the Programme and the awarding of incentives are void when prohibited by law (including, for the avoidance of doubt, United Kingdom and United States bribery laws which apply internationally) and subject to any applicable government regulations. There is no cost to register and / or participate in the Programme. One entry per registrant. Some employers, by policy, may prohibit or restrict employee participation in the Programme. IHG assumes no responsibility or liability for compliance with these policies. Registrants are informed that participation in the Programme may require prior approval of their employer, and that it is the registrants’ responsibility to obtain such prior approval. Registrants will be asked to confirm prior approval upon registration.If there is any outstanding balance due to Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza at the time of or during the redemption of the rewards, IHG reserves the right to refuse to make the reward or to delay redemption of the reward until the outstanding balance is repaid to Holiday Inn or Crowne Plaza.
Staff of IHG, its agencies and affiliated companies who are involved in the management of the Programme will not be eligible to participate and register for the Programme.
D. Meet & Get meetings value accrual
Each registrant that correctly and fully completes the Programme registration process will accrue meetings value for meetings that happen after their registration date and that they register in their account on the Holiday Inn Meetings website (www.holidayinnmeetings.co.uk). The period for meetings value accrual starts at 00:01am (local time; GMT +1:00) on 1st May 2010 to 11.59pm (local time; GMT) on 30th June 2011. Registrants that reach the target meetings value from meetings that have taken place between 1st May 2010 and 30th June 2011 can have a second attempt to the reach the target meetings value. The online system will re-set once to allow a second attempt to reach the £5000 target. Even if the online system allows a third registration, the third system registration will be deemed null and void. Gifts are limited to two per registrant throughout the Programme period.
All meetings values are non-transferable. Registrants can login to their account on the Holiday Inn Meetings website to review their total accumulated value.

E. Meetings value redemption
Registrants are redeemed within 50 days of reaching the target meetings value of £5,000. No redemption request needs to be made on the part of the registrant.
IHG will check all accumulated meetings values on 30th June 2011. Any registrant who has not reached the £5,000 meetings value target will not have their credits redeemed. Meetings values that are left unredeemed after 11.59pm (local time; GMT) on 30th June 2011 will be null and void.
Registrants can only be redeemed with a Nespresso coffee maker – see section B for more details. During the Programme period (dates listed above), registrants can login to their account on the Holiday Inn Meetings website to view their total accumulated meetings value and how this relates to the target of £5,000 (www.holidayinnmeetings.co.uk). Registrants’ meetings values are updated up to a maximum of 1-month following their meeting date. If registrants check their accumulated value on a day within 1-month of their meeting date, the meetings value reflected in their account may not be the total meetings value actually earned up to that time in the current promotion.
F. Gifts
The Nespresso gift listed on this website is subject to availability and while stocks last. Should the gift be unavailable, IHG will replace the gift with one(s) of equal or greater value. IHG is not the manufacturer of any of these goods and cannot accept any liability in respect of the goods. If you do have any issues with the goods or are unable to identify the manufacturer, please contact IHG on emeamarketinghotline@ihg.com and we will endeavour to help you find this information. Images are shown for illustration purposes only. IHG cannot guarantee the colour of any gift. The gifts are non-returnable, non-negotiable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits.
IHG is not responsible for the lost, late or misdirected gift(s) resulting from computer, electronic or other malfunctions that occur via the Programme’s website.
The gift(s) will be delivered to the registrant at the registered company or residential address indicated upon registration for the Programme. Please allow 50 days after reaching your meetings target value, as indicated on the Programme’s website, for the delivery of your gift(s).
Completing the registration or your meeting information incorrectly into the site will invalidate your entry.
Registrants are advised that if they fail to meet the defined meetings target value of £5,000, they will not qualify for the gift(s).
Involvement in this promotion may involve a tax liability. Participants are responsible for any tax liability and should check their own tax position. Recipients of a gift / gifts will be solely responsible for any and all applicable income, capital or other taxes or fees that may be payable in respect of their receipt of any of the prizes.
G. General
IHG reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify a registrant and cancel any participation in the Programme. IHG is not liable for any loss, injury or damages arising from or in connection with participation in the Programme, including but not limited to cancellation of the Programme for any reason, substitution of gift(s), or acceptance or use of the gift(s) by the registrant.
Registrants, upon joining the Programme, are deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. IHG reserves all of its right, including but not limited to the final right to make any change to the Programme or these Terms and Conditions. If any of the Terms and Conditions should be or become invalid, the other Terms and Conditions remain valid. IHG’s determination on all matters relating to the Programme will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By participating in the Programme, all registrants are deemed to have consented to IHG using their data for the management of the Programme. IHG may contact registrants with regards to the Programme via the email address provided upon registration of the Programme. All registrants’ data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the IHG Privacy Policy.
